Whats the one piece of advice youd give buyers in todays Houston real estate market?
A: Some buyers think they can work on their own, but its really important to find a good real estate agent. Most buyers need solid representation, and someone who has strong negotiation skills and will put the buyers best interests first.
The agent should also be knowledgeable about areas that a buyer is interested in. Issues like development, building restrictions and zoning all contribute to the value of a home, so its crucial to work with a person who can provide information about a certain neighborhood or subdivision. Finally, a good real estate agent can recommend inspectors and lenders. They can ensure inspections are thorough and a lenders rates are competitive.
